Commuting/Travelling To Fort Bonifacio Global City From Ayala (or near Ayala MRT Station)

Objective: To guide first time visitors taking up public transpo going to Fort Bonifacio Global City coming from EDSA, Ayala Avenue, MRT Ayala Station.



Taking a taxi cab is convenient but costly and the other alternative of going around Fort Bonifacio Global City is using the Fort Bonifacio Buses with two bus companies operating – The Fort Bus (West Route Bus) and Worthy Transport Bus (East Route Bus).



Reminders:
1.    Check the address of the place you are going to visit in Google Map.
2.    Bus fare inside Fort Bonifacio Global City is at PHP 12.00 (New fare adjustment starting March 29, 2011 from the previous Php 11.00)
3.    There is a New Covered Bus Terminal which started at January 2011. The New Covered Bus Terminal is part of the Meralco Sub-Station). The covered bus terminals is good on rainy days compared with the old terminal (Not covered terminal). 
       Buy ticket from the counter and proceed to the line for your route.
       (February 29, 2011) Fall in line going to the counter. West Line Counter is on the Right most and sometimes occuppies the middle portion of the counter. East Line Counter is on the Left most.
       After buying the ticket, proceed to the West Line Lane on the Right portion which at past 7 till 9 in the morning has a long line. East Line Lane is on the Left Side and at past 8 has a long line.
       (February 25, 2011) Fall in line (in West and East Line) and the ticket marshall shall approach you for the ticket fare
       (Before February 25, 2011, ticket is being bought to the Ticket Booth Station then proceed to the line.

4.     There are two Bus Route inside Fort Bonifacio Global City – West Route and East Route
West Route is serviced by The Fort Bus (Bus color is light green/blue/white) and
East Route is serviced by HM Transport or Worthy Transport Corporation (Bus color is red/white)
5.     The Bus stops only at designated stations/bus stops.


West Route Bus stops at the following bus stop stations: (Check on the map below for details)
  1. (Start) EDSA - New Fort Bonifacio Bus Terminal
  2. (1st Bus Stop) McKinley (Corner of McKinley Parkway and Rizal Drive)
  3. (2nd Bus Stop) Open space beside Net One (On 3rd Avenue  and in between 26th Street and 27th Street; the vacant lot there with tent)
  4. (3rd Bus Stop) Net Cube (Right after 30th Street; In front of Security Bank, Net Cube Building)
  5. (4th Bus Stop) Stop Over (On 31st Street, right after Chowking, BPI Express)
  6. (Additional Bus Stop - 5th) New: 27th Street on the side of Open Public Parking. 
  7. (6th Bus Stop) Rizal Drive (From Corner of 5th Avenue and Rizal Drive)
  8. End at EDSA - New Fort Bonifacio Bus Terminal

East Route Bus (is via Kalayaan Hi-Way) (For checking and update)
  1. (Start) EDSA - New Fort Bonifacio Bus Terminal then will proceed to Kalayaan Avenue (Not McKinley Drive)
  2. The Fort (along 5th Street after intersection of 26th Street and 5th Street)
  3. 32nd (In front of HSBC (On left side) along 5th Street)
  4. 32nd MC Home Depot
  5. Bonifacio Hight Street - Left Side (seldom stops here)
  6. 32nd-STI
  7. Market-Market designated bus stop
